Eric Olson’s career is one exclusively dedicated to criminal law. For the past 12 years, he has focused his career exclusively on criminal law. Eric has developed a reputation in the legal community as an aggressive advocate for his clients.

Mr. Olson is a trial lawyer with considerable amount of trial experience. He has received acquittals in many serious felony trials: first degree murder, drug, criminal sexual conduct, DWI and assaults. Eric is licensed and practices in both state and federal courts.

Experienced in both prosecution and defense, Mr. Olson served as Assistant County Attorney for the Olmsted County Attorney’s Office where he handled criminal prosecution of adult felony charges in district court and criminal appeals in Minnesota appellate courts. He was also an Adjunct Instructor at Winona State University. He has authored an article titled “Disenfranchisement” focusing on the difficulties faced by convicted felons in Minnesota and their right to vote.

Mr. Olson has been recognized by Law & Politics Magazine as a “Rising Star.”

Eric’s hobbies include spending time with his family, golf, fishing and spending time at the cabin.
